A Wedding Day at Dive in Kismet, Fire Island / Fire Island Wedding Photographer

Christy & Ian got married at my favorite place to be, Kismet! Fire Island is such a special place, and I grew up visiting Kismet in the summer. My entire mom’s side of the family would rent and pile into a 4 bedroom house on Pine, we’d push the beds together, sleep on the floor, whatever it took to all be together. In recent years we haven’t gone, and I’ve missed visiting Kismet and the memories made there. When Christy & Ian reached out last summer, I was beyond excited and so hopeful they’d choose to book with me.

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to capture a wedding day (something I love to do so much) in Kismet (a place I love so much!). Christy & Ian were the epitome of a fun time, these two brought the energy and their family & friends reciprocated with amazing dance moves, constant smiles and so much laughter. Photographing their wedding day felt easy, not at all like work! We had a great time working together for the formal shots, and my second & I were running around all night capturing all the fun and candids. To top it all off, the vendor team was incredible, and these two brought along their adorable dog, Rue!
