A Wedding Celebration in Asbury Park / NYC Wedding Photographer
After photographing Alex & Greg’s waterfront elopement in Jersey City, the two asked me to capture their December wedding celebration. I absolutely love this type of wedding celebration duo; you can have the small ceremony with just you two & your families, and still have the big party to celebrate with everyone! I think it’s the perfect way to have your wedding the way you want to, while still including all your loved ones and being celebrated without all the pressure.
Alex & Greg started off the day together in a stunning Airbnb in Asbury Park. The home was full of character and the coolest mid century furniture. The two hung out all morning, then got dressed separately to have a little first look moment together once they were finally ready to start the day. We went into the gorgeous backyard for a bit of family formals and bridal party pictures, before driving Alex & Greg over to the boardwalk for couple photos. We wandered around the convention hall, snuck into a really pretty sun drenched patio, and then headed over to Cross & Orange for their restaurant reception. A&G brought the party to life with so many sweet touches, from vintage postcards, to a watercolor artist painting portraits of their guests (@ninetyonecreations on IG), a vintage Photo Booth guestbook (@classicphotoboothusa on IG) and incredible vintage style heart shaped cakes (@confectionsofarockstar on IG). The party was full of laughter, incredible dance moves, and tons of good food.
