A Wintertime City Hall Wedding - NYC Elopement Photographer
Krystle & Sean inquired with me last fall to capture their city hall elopement on super 8 video. The plan was to have a secret elopement in Manhattan in January, and share the video at their bigger wedding celebration in San Francisco in April. They pulled off a successful elopement and kept the secret for 3 months, before surprising their guests with the film during their wedding reception. It was such a fun surprise and I had the absolute best time working with them to create the perfect film for this day. It was such an honor to hold onto this surprise for them, and I even got to sign as their witness in city hall, which is such a sweet memory!
We started together at City Hall early on a Friday morning, joined with their adorable pup as well! Following the ceremony we took the A train down to Brooklyn Heights, and walked over to the promenade to spend some time wandering around the waterfront, taking in the views and the post-elopement excitement. We ended at a cute ice cream shop right off the piers before going our separate ways.
Below are some of the film photos I captured while documenting their elopement, along with the (not so secret anymore!) super 8 video!
